Company History

KCAS was originally founded in 1979 by William Mason, PhD and Robert Lanman, PhD of the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC) as Kansas City Analytical Services, Inc. In 1998, the company was acquired by AAIPharma Inc., and twelve years later, Kansas City Analytical Services re-established itself as KCAS Bioanalytical Services.

For more than 30 years, KCAS has been providing a full range of high-quality bioanalytical services, including method development, validation and high-throughput sample analysis for small and large molecule compounds on biological samples from preclinical and clinical studies. We work with pharmaceutical and biotech companies of all sizes, as well as medical device and animal science companies. The KCAS team has an average tenure of 12 years. What that means to you is that you get an experienced “A Team” on your program. We simply don’t have a “B Team.”
